John Overton Belcher

John Overton Belcher focuses his practice on representing individuals and small businesses in litigation and dispute resolution. John has handled a wide variety of matters, including personal injury, fraud, consumer protection, real estate, disability, ERISA, trade secrets, and breach of contract cases. He has obtained large judgments for clients in complex, high-stakes trials, and he has also spent countless hours drafting clear, easy to read contracts and leases to help clients avoid disputes in the first place.
John has been with the firm of Lassiter, Tidwell, Davis, Keller & Hogan, PLLC since 2002, and prior to that was associated with Anderson and Rankin in Brentwood, Tennessee. He is a member of the Nashville Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association, and, in addition, has taught Torts and Litigation classes at Southeastern Career College, where he has also served on the advisory board.
John graduated cum laude with honors in history from Vanderbilt University, and earned his law degree from the Vanderbilt University Law School.
